Membership Membership of Brookwood Pottery is 195 euro per month on a rolling basis. Members are selected on the basis of suitability and experience and we reserve the right of admission. Each Member will sign a registration form agreeing to our terms and conditions prior to their first session at the Pottery. Please read these terms properly, you must understand and agree to these terms before becoming a Member.
On receipt of your first payment, we will confirm by personalised email your membership of Brookwood Pottery. A Member cannot bring another person to the studio during Open Access time or class, they must either become a Member or prebook a class with us. Payment for Memberships is non-refundable. Membership fees must be paid in accordance with these Terms and Conditions irrespective of whether or not the Member uses Brookwood Pottery facilities. Missed time at the pottery cannot be brought forward from one month to another. Members will be invoiced each month through Paypal for the membership fee. Payment is due on receipt of invoice. Memberships, once the contract is started, are non-transferable and cannot be shared. Any Member who purchases our monthly studio subscription will be given key access and shown how to open and lock the pottery securely.
Cleaning The biggest danger in a pottery is silica dust in order to minimise this risk each member is required to engage in a minimum of 20 minutes cleaning during their session at the Pottery. Failure to do so can mean a cleaning fee for members. Please follow the instruction of Brookwood Pottery staff at all times with regard to best studio practice.
Classes Payments for Sessions and gift certificates in any amount are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions. If a course is bought and only part used there will be no refund available for the remaining Sessions. You must give at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel a private class or lesson. Sessions and Classes are booked on a first-come first-served basis.
Gift Vouchers Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and can be used to buy products, classes or membership. Gift Vouchers are non refundable .
Studio Opening Times Monday to Friday 8 am - 9 pm Sunday 8am - 9 pm Saturdays are reserved for teaching at the pottery. Brookwood Pottery reserves the right to alter access to the building for events and due to unforeseen circumstances but will endeavour to give as much notice as possible to Members.
We reserve the right to close for holidays and when deemed necessary and will endeavour to give at least 12 hours notice.
Healthy and Safety Potteries are dusty environments with sharp objects, hot kilns and hazardous materials. Users do so at their own risk and we accept no liability for injury or fatalities as a result of using our facilities. Members must follow instructions from Brookwood Pottery technicians.
