I make framed artworks throughout the year, many based on foliage from my garden and nearby St, Anne's Park, Raheny. In 2014 I was commissioned by a local community group to make a piece for our President, Mr. Michael D. Higgins.
"Study in Blue" is a large artwork featuring wild flowers and foliage from the field near the duck pond in St Anne's Park, beside the Coast Road and Dollymount Strand. I have used soft blues to create a restful image which would look beautiful in a bedroom or hallway.
The frame is Irish made and solid wood measuring 25 x 50 cms.
As each artwork is made totally by hand they are all unique and one offs.
