Wild Meadow, St Annes
I make framed artworks throughout the year, many based on foliage from my garden and nearby St, Anne's Park, Raheny. In 2014 I was commissioned by a local community group to make a piece for our President, Mr. Michael D. Higgins.
"Wild meadow St Annes" is a large artwork featuring wild grasses and daisies picked in our beautiful seaside park of St Annes. I have used a blue/ grey underglaze to pick up the delicate patterns of the foliage and petals. Please excuse the awful photo but as these as are all hand made each print is different, so photos are taken as they emerge !
The frame is Irish made and is framed in a white solid wood measuring 25 x 50 cms. (Pictured unframed). AS SEEN ON IRELAND AM, VIRGIN MEDIA 3 DEC 2018
As each artwork is made totally by hand they are all unique and one offs.
