St Anne's Bud Vase I
This handthrown stoneware vase features an original print of a feather I found in St Anne's Park while out walking. St. Anne's park is a haven on the Northside of Dublin, nestled between Raheny, Clontarf and the sea. It is the second biggest park in the city and a place many of us go to walk and meet friends. Heading into the park I am always struck by the canopies of the trees and the wide, long avenue, I take a deep breath and feel lighter. I hope this mug will remind you of these simple pleasures and the natural beauty that supports and sustains us there.
The vase is made from stoneware clay and features a gloss white glaze (shinier than in the phot!). The feather motif is on the front of the vase. (Smaller of 2 in group shot) Measures 18 cms approx.
