Tree Coffee Cup Porcelain Stoneware
This bright white stoneware porcelain mugs features a playful Tree pattern inspired by my favourite children's illustrations. Perfect for your coffee and will fit under all coffee machines! 8 x 8 cms approx.
I throw the pot on my small potter's wheel and leave it to dry out slightly. When strong enough to handle, I trim the base and handpaint the colourful Tree motif on the exterior. A week left to dry in a hot studio and then it goes into the kiln for the first firing, called the biscuit firing. Glazing comes next using a transparent glaze and then it's back into the kiln for it's final firing at a temperature of 1220 degrees celsius.
The result is a unique, handcrafted mug with a timeless design, to enjoy and use in your home for many years.
Slight variations in size, shape and colour may occur as everything is hand made.
